This project recommends some different methods of cable detection according to the different demands and budget of different clients. Client can use a traditional optical laser sourcerand optical power meter to measure the loss or a visible laser source to detect the defect points. And to the client who has a high demand on the cable quality, the OTDR(optical time domain reflector) is recommended to have a detailed estimation of the entire optical cable.
